Exploration Projects

Bear Creek Mining has established a reputation as one of the few junior companies with in-house mineral exploration and mine-development expertise and experience. The Company's management and technical team has achieved an exceptionally successful track record of mineral discovery and resource development in Peru, notably at the Pierina gold deposit found by Arequipa Resources (1990s) and subsequently acquired and developed into a profitable mine by Barrick Gold, and porphyry copper deposits that later became major assets of Southern Peru Copper.

Generative exploration programs have allowed Bear Creek Mining to acquire quality projects and define silver and gold resources at one of the lowest per-ounce finding costs in the industry. The Company continues to maintain aggressive grassroots exploration programs, the foundation for its success in generating resources at the Corani and Santa Ana deposits, now both at the advanced engineering stage. The Company expects to drill at least two to three new projects every year.

Bear Creek Mining believes that Peru has one of the best geological environments in the world for new discoveries, particularly in historic and emerging mineral districts that have seen little or no exploration using modern methods and technologies. The Company is committed to conducting its exploration and development activities in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility.
